How It's Made

The Solid Oil Impregnation Process

Our bearings start as standard open deep groove ball bearings. Each bearing is thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove any traces of conventional lubricant.

Convection Oven Impregnation

The cleaned bearings are placed in Syn-Tech solid lubricant and processed in a convection oven. The heat causes the bearing to expand slightly, drawing in the Syn-Tech material. As the bearing cools, the lubricant solidifies within the bearing's internal spaces — the raceways, cage, and ball contact surfaces.

Slow-Release Lubrication

The solid oil lubricant slowly releases during operation, providing consistent lubrication throughout the bearing's service life. Unlike conventional grease, it will not spin out at high speeds, melt at high temperatures, or attract contaminants.

Food Grade Option

Our NSF H1 food grade variant uses Syn-Tech food-safe solid lubricant, meeting FDA and USDA requirements for incidental food contact in food processing environments.
