Terms of service

By accessing this website or placing an order with Solid Oil Bearings, you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

1. Products are made to order

All bearings sold on this site are manufactured to order: each bearing is impregnated with Syn-Tech solid lubricant after your order is placed. Production lead times apply to every order, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout.

2. All sales are final

Because our products are made to order, all sales are final. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, and products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. See our Return and Refund Policy for the limited exceptions covering defective or incorrectly shipped items.

3. Ordering and acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to production - for example, in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. If we cancel an order before production begins, you will receive a full refund.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes and shipping, which are calculated at checkout. Payment is due in full at the time of order. We may correct pricing errors on the site at any time.

5. Product information and fitment

We work to keep dimensions, specifications, and product descriptions accurate, but you are responsible for verifying that a bearing is suitable for your application before ordering, including dimensions, load, speed, temperature, and environment. If in doubt, contact us before purchasing.

6. Intended use

Our products are industrial components sold for general machinery applications. They are not designed, tested, or approved for use in aircraft, life-support, medical implant, or other applications where failure could cause injury or death. Food grade (NSF H1) products are intended for incidental food contact environments; compliance with regulations applicable to your finished product or facility is your responsibility.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solid Oil Bearings' total liability for any claim arising from a product or from use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including downtime, lost profits, or damage to equipment.

8. Website content

All content on this site belongs to Solid Oil Bearings and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Solid Oil Bearings operates.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time you place an order applies to that order.
