Solid Oil Bearings supplies one thing, and we do it well: deep groove ball bearings impregnated with solid lubricant.
Every bearing we sell starts as a premium open bearing — chrome steel for standard applications, or stainless steel for food grade and washdown environments. We then fill the internal free space with Syn-Tech solid lubricant using a controlled convection oven process. The polymer matrix locks the oil inside the bearing and releases a microscopic lubricating film onto the raceways as the bearing runs.
The result looks almost like a rubber-sealed bearing, but it behaves very differently: there is no grease to purge, wash out, or contaminate your product. Solid lube bearings are ideal for food and beverage processing, washdown equipment, marine applications, and any location where relubrication is difficult or impossible.
Why solid lube?
- Maintenance-free — no relubrication schedules, ever.
- No washout — survives caustic washdown and high-pressure cleaning.
- No purge — nothing to drip into your product or process.
- Food grade option — stainless steel rings with NSF H1 registered solid lubricant.
Made to order
Because every bearing is impregnated to order, please allow additional production time before shipment, and note that all sales are final. See our Return Policy for details.
