6301 Solid Oil Ball Bearing (12×37×12 mm)
The 6301 solid oil bearing is a single row deep groove ball bearing sealed with Syn-Tech solid oil. The internal space is filled with a solid polymer lubricant that holds the oil in place and releases a thin film to the balls and raceways as the bearing turns. It needs no relubrication for its service life, cannot purge, and cannot be washed out by water, steam or cleaning chemicals. We fill each bearing to order at our facility in Glendale, California.
Part numbers: 6301-SL (Standard, chrome steel) and S6301-FGSL (Food Grade, stainless steel with NSF H1 solid lubricant).

Where it fits

Common questions
Is the 6301 solid oil bearing sealed? Yes. The solid oil fill seals it. There is no separate seal or shield to specify.
Does it ever need grease? No. The lubricant is built in for the life of the bearing.
What does it replace? A standard 6301, 6301-2RS or 6301ZZ bearing with the same 12×37×12 mm dimensions, wherever relubrication is impractical or washdown is a problem. It is also the same size as a 6301 W64 or 6301 W64F solid oil bearing.
